Most often, the politician’s expressed goal to ’save’ the people is simply a thin disguise to ‘rule’ the people.

I totaly agree. Obama and his people are too far-left. They will ruin our country. USA is for people who work hard for their living and should keep it. How is that so hard to ask.? Tell the 95 percent of the lazy ***** who don’t wanna work, and live off of well-fair to go to some other communists country. Obama is too socialist, and by 2012 the comservative party will have an uprise and will have a true conservative like Booby Jindal or Newt run. Obama wants to do all of this radical things, that will hurt the greatest country ever. And check the fact, salraries of 250000 and above pay over 90 percent of americas taxes. How could you tax them even more?

Obama was "Not Voting" 55% of the time and when he voted it was with Reid 92% of the time. This means that not only does Obama not put his country first, but he doesn’t do his job. How can he refute the experience attacks when 55% of the time he didn’t vote? What kind of leadership qualities does that prove besides the fact that Obama is the status quo of a failed Congress?

Bush’s approval rating was as high as 90% in 2001 right after 9/11 and was steadily between 70% and 50% up until about 2006 when it dropped. Are people really too naive to see that the 110th Congress is failing us more than the President and both Obama and McCain are part of it? However, McCain voted with Bush who once had a decent approval rating but Obama voted with his left wing democrats in the Congress and look where we have arrived.

I’m a conservative and by no means am I saying I just love John McCain, but we can’t afford Barack Obama. He is actually more of the same, not the change he claims.

McCain supports the average working family. We all know you Democrats in Congress like to add on top of bills a nice little pay raise for yourselves or some other benefit and McCain won’t pass that garbage. Then we he downs it you go on a rant about how he voted against tax cuts but you forget to mention the pay raise in the bill that was never mentioned. Can you explain this to me?

Once elected to the Senate, Obama voted for a series of war funding measures.

How do you attract 200,000 Germans to an American presidential candidate’s campaign

rally in Berlin?

A. With the charisma and reputation of the candidate?

B. With a compelling political message?

C. With lots of advance advertising?

D. With the top two rock bands in Germany giving a free concert with the American candidate coming out for a short speech between the bands?

"D" of course. What the American media following and fawning over Obama failed to mention about his Berlin speech was why the crowds were really there. 95% of them could care less about Obama or American politics. They came to see a free concert with the German equivalents of Willy Nelson and Madonna headlining. Obama was an unwelcome and boring interruption giving a political speech in a foreign language between the acts – which is why the crowd only gave lame applause a couple of times – after all, how many of them spoke English or cared less? Obama didn’t care about the crowd either. His speech was really for the American media and the crowd was a backdrop for the photo ops. And the American media bit on it hook line and sinker and just sorta, kinda forgot to mention the rock bands that really drew the crowds .

France saw the 200,000 Germans and surrendered again .

On another note. Someone did the math on Obama the Senator. He has only been a Senator for 18 months. But with all the recesses, four day weekends, campaigning and absences, Obama has only spent about 6 weeks of workdays on the Senate floor as one of the most junior Senators. Most of his votes, about 80% when he was not absent, have been "present" or "abstain". He also chairs a committee that has never met because the chairman has never called a meeting. As a trial lawyer he only tried 14 cases in court – and minor ones at that. As a "community organizer" his major cause was getting the asbestos out of a housing project. After 2 years of trying the asbestos was still there when he left and is still there even now that he is a Senator and presumably has some pull to get things done.

That’s it. His entire real world work resume. 6 weeks work in the Senate with nothing to show for it. Two years as a lawyer and only 14 minor trials. And two years as a "community organizer" with nothing accomplished.

I’m not saying Obama is a terrible choice but he could’ve backed up some of his catchy slogans about united Washington while in the Senate — and he really didn’t.
