Who Uses Cheap Checks?
February 92010
With the advent of the debit card checks are pretty much on the way out. However, there are still a few diehard check users that want to continue to use checks and refuse to look at the convenience of the debit card. Buying checks can be costly. Banks do not print the checks and send them to a printer. Banks have no control over the price of the checks. Checks ordered through your bank can cost as much as $40 for two books.
There are companies that offer cheap checks. These companies are usually fund raisers and can offer the checks for about $3.00 per book. All they want is one of your checks marked “void” for the necessary information needed.
